A project in woodwork and traditional joinery, the hangman is a side table designed with functionality as well as aesthetics in mind. It is made from planks of oak wood.

Through this project, I had the opportunity to learn about different techniques used in woodwork such as joineries such as dowelled butt joints and miter joints, the theory behind wood processing, how wood reacts to humidity, and expansion, and the types of wood, and the pros and cons of each one and about colour and composition.
